The point of a review
A weekly review isn't about doing more work. It's about trusting your system enough to stop carrying everything in your head. Ten minutes is usually enough.
The checklist
- Clear the inbox: decide on anything you captured this week.
- Check overdue: reschedule or drop, don't just look away.
- Review this week's outcomes: what happened, what didn't?
- Glance at goals: is anything drifting quietly?
- Set next week's two or three outcomes.
Keep it boring
A review works because it's the same every time and takes little effort. If it grows into an hour-long ritual, you'll skip it. Short and consistent beats thorough and abandoned.
