Plan for the day you'll actually have
It's tempting to plan for an ideal day with no interruptions. Real days have meetings that run long, energy that dips, and things that come up. A finishable plan accounts for that from the start.
Start with three
The daily planner leads with three priorities on purpose. If nothing else happens, finishing those three makes the day a success. Everything below them is a bonus, not a debt.
Carry forward without guilt
Unfinished tasks aren't failures; they're information about your estimates. Carry them to tomorrow, and over time you'll plan more accurately because you're learning what a real day holds.
